The Top Hat Channel Roll Forming Line is primarily applied in the building materials sector, particularly for the production of lightweight steel frames for roofs and walls, as well as related metal components. Its unique design and efficient roll-forming process have made it an indispensable part of the modern construction industry.
Composition of the Forming Line
The Top Hat Channel Roll Forming Line consists of multiple crucial components, each playing an indispensable role in ensuring product quality and production efficiency.
Uncoiler: The uncoiler is located at the starting point of the entire production line, responsible for uncoiling steel coil raw materials and feeding them into subsequent processing units. It typically adopts a single-head structure and is equipped with pressure devices and inner and outer retaining rollers to prevent the steel strip from unwinding during the uncoiling process. Depending on the size of the raw material steel coil, the uncoiler’s load capacity is generally selected as 5T or 10T, and it features hydraulic tensioning and negative pressure braking functions to ensure the stability and safety of feeding.
Leveler: The leveler follows the uncoiler and cooperates with it to achieve passive feeding while simultaneously flattening the steel strip to eliminate material stress. With the increasing application of high-strength steel strips, the role of the leveler becomes particularly important. It employs a multi-roll structure to precisely flatten the steel strip, ensuring that the material’s flatness meets the requirements for subsequent processing.
