Overview
The crimping machine is engineered for reliable crimping of individual terminals on large cross-section wires and cables. Terminals and conductors are manually positioned by the operator and the crimp cycle is initiated with a foot switch. The robust, modular construction ensures long service life, high reproducibility and short set-up times, while enabling flexible extensions and automation options.
Connecting of Terminals and Wires
Processes individual terminals and single- and multi-core cables. Wire cross section: up to 100 mm² depending on material and terminal geometry. Quick-change crimp applicators allow fast tool changeovers. Crimping speed and parameters can be adjusted to terminal and conductor properties for optimal results.
Modern Operating Interface
Equipped with an STI 2015 touchscreen HMI offering an intuitive, multilingual user interface. Multiple user roles and operating modes are available. Machine networking functions (RJ-45) and communication options support integration into production lines and Industry 4.0 workflows.
High Safety for Operators
Operator protection is provided by a monitored sliding cover; removal of safety guards interrupts the electrical safety circuit and stops the machine. A handwheel enables safe manual test operation after changeovers and maintenance.
Conformity
Complies with applicable European directives for mechanical and electrical safety and electromagnetic compatibility (EMC).
