Product overview
Pneumatic crimping applicator with left side feed for high-precision terminal crimping in cable production. AirCrimp PL-6 by Schäfer supports wire cross-sections up to 6 mm² and is compatible with crimping presses up to 20 kN, designed to simplify setup and maintenance while providing fine adjustability.

Optimized adjustability for maximum precision
The crimp height adjustment head is redesigned to allow independent and precise adjustment of wire crimp and insulation crimp heights. Mechanical decoupling of adjustment rings reduces mutual interference. Two adjustment ranges are available: 1.5 mm with 0.01 mm resolution for small cross-sections, and 3 mm with 0.02 mm resolution for larger cross-sections. Optional tool-less fine adjustment on the feed table/finger and high-precision roller bearings in the feed improve terminal positioning accuracy.

Easy handling and high compatibility
Wear parts are compatible with previous Schäfer generations. Wire and insulation crimp dies can be changed quickly, even when mounted in the machine. An optional mechanical counter can be integrated to record crimp cycles. The applicator mounts via a quick-clamping device and is designed for the standardized shut (press closing) height of 135.78 mm.
