The Schaltbau UIC 558 series is an array of connectors with 13- and 18-pole contact inserts to UIC 558 VE as well as 22+PE pole contact insert, not standard to UIC. These connectors display a sturdy design that can deliver optimum resistance against chemical contamination. They integrate keypositions that can prevent misconnections between the inserts. In addition, the UIC 558 exhibits a maximum rated current of up to 63A and can be equipped with various configurations such as 6+2 and 16+2HF, not standard to UIC and etc, upon customer's request.
