System family grows – control panels in an elegant design Individual combination options – BDF20 AND BDF40 – whether as a stand-alone solution or a system component of a locking system The recently presented BDF40 control panel has a compact addition: with the BDF20, Schmersal is introducing another slim control panel. The new model has two command stations and, thanks to its minimalist design, can also be optimally integrated into modern door locking systems. In addition, the BDF40-FB control panel is a product from this system family that can be connected quickly and error-free to the Safety Fieldbox (SFB). BDF40 and BDF20 – two solutions in a compact design The BDF40 and BDF20 control panels are available in two versions, with or without an emergency stop function, and offer interchangeable coloured button caps for illuminated pushbuttons or non-illuminated pushbuttons. The button caps can be easily mounted in twelve different colours, offering flexible application options. The 12-pin M12 connection enables quick and error-free installation, and the optional MS-BDF40 mounting kit – which can be used for both control panels – protects it from tampering. The BDF40 and BDF20 control panels can be installed independently. However, they can also be seamlessly integrated into the door system with the AZM40 safety interlock and the DHS door handle using a connecting piece. Thanks to its compact design and flexible installation, the BDF20 is also suitable for door systems with double acknowledgement: a door locking system with BDF20 or BDF40 as well as AZM40 and DHS is installed on the outside, and a BDF20 with emergency stop and illuminated pushbutton is installed on the inside. Control panel BDF40-FB and BDF20-FB The -FB device variants are designed for connection to the SFB safety field box. The 8-pin M12 connector ensures quick and error-free installation of the BDF40-FB and BDF20-FB control panels.
