Airflow PatternsThe patented reversing airflow uses an axial fan wheel that periodically reverses rotation to change horizontal airflow direction through the load. Air temperature is monitored on each side of the charge. A thermal head accelerates initial heating. Reversing airflow improves heating rate and temperature uniformity compared with one-way airflow, reducing energy consumption and improving metallurgical results.
