Powder coating is often considered a more acceptable alternative to liquid paint for application to metal parts and surfaces. Unlike wet paint, the coating is applied as a dry powder. A specially designed spray gun applies the powder by electrostatic spray deposition - the electrical charge causes the epoxy powder to adhere to the surface.
