Description

Product Overview
SEVEN Soiling Sensor is designed to quantify energy production loss caused by environmental soiling on photovoltaic modules. Suitable for commercial, utility-scale, industrial and rooftop PV projects, the sensor reports production loss as a soiling ratio: a reading of 10% corresponds to approximately 10% energy loss at the site.

Operation
The SEVEN Manual Soiling Sensor determines soiling by comparing irradiance values from two sensors: a dirty sensor exposed to contamination like the modules, and a clean sensor that the operator wipes manually with a wet cloth. Measured data are available for local monitoring and can be read and integrated via PLC (RS485).
