Product overviewThe Compact Weather Station 3S-CWS is an all-in-one professional sensor unit that combines multiple meteorological measurements in a single weatherproof enclosure. The device outputs a complete dataset via Modbus RTU over RS485, enabling direct integration with SCADA, dataloggers and monitoring systems. It is intended for solar PV monitoring, agriculture, smart city networks and environmental research where consolidated, reliable weather data are required.
How it worksThe 3S-CWS integrates interchangeable external sensors into a sealed, UV-resistant housing for quick, error-free installation. Connections follow a plug & play principle:
- The connection box uses waterproof, UV-resistant connectors.
- Each sensor has a unique pin configuration to prevent incorrect wiring.
Measured signals are processed by the internal electronics and transmitted via RS485 using Modbus RTU at selectable baud rates.
