Product Overview
The 3S-CWS Compact Weather Station is a professional all-in-one sensor unit that consolidates multiple meteorological measurements in one weatherproof housing. It outputs a unified dataset via Modbus RTU over RS485 for direct integration with SCADA, PLCs and dataloggers. The unit is suitable for solar PV monitoring, agricultural monitoring, smart city networks and environmental research.

How it Works
The 3S-CWS integrates interchangeable external sensors into a sealed, UV-resistant connection box to enable fast, error-free installation. Connections follow a Plug & Play principle:
  • Connection box with waterproof, UV-resistant connectors.
  • Unique pin configuration per sensor to prevent incorrect wiring.
Signals from connected sensors are processed by the internal electronics and transmitted via RS485 using Modbus RTU at configurable baud rates for reliable communication with host systems.
