We developed a battery-powered transfer cart with a load capacity of 70,000 kg and a transfer speed of 40 m/min for the fast and safe transport of heavy sheet metal coils. The polyurethane-coated wheels provide silent and durable operation, while the remote control and safety measures enhance operational flexibility. With CE certification, this system has made internal logistics processes faster, safer, and more efficient. Technical Design and Production In the project, a battery powered transfer cart with a carrying capacity of 70,000 kg and a transfer speed of 40 m/min was designed. The cart offers versatile use with both flat sheet and V-bed equipment, while its vulkollan-coated wheels provide both durability and silent operation advantages. The system, which can be controlled by remote control, offers operational flexibility, while safety measures such as flashing warning lights and 85 dB siren sound ensure maximum safety. Result The CE-certified transfer cart manufactured for Termo Teknik has made in-plant transport processes faster, safer and more efficient. This solution, which has increased manoeuvrability thanks to its front steering mode, fully complied with both operational flow and safety standards.
