An upender is a mechanical device used to tilt or flip heavy loads. It typically consists of a platform that the load is placed on, and one or more hydraulic cylinders or jacks that lift and tilt the platform. To operate an upender, the load must be placed on the platform in the desired orientation, and the upender must be positioned so that it has enough clearance to lift and tilt the load. The operator then activates the upender's hydraulic system, which lifts and tilts the platform to the desired angle. Once the load has been tilted to the desired position, the operator can then activate the hydraulic system to lower the platform back to its original position.
