Product overviewThe GDM355/GDM365 is a compact 3D dynamic electronic compass integrating a 12‑axis inertial measurement unit (3‑axis attitude, 3‑axis accelerometer, 3‑axis gyroscope, 3‑axis magnetometer). It fuses high‑dynamic gyroscope response with stable accelerometer outputs and dynamic inertial algorithms to provide real‑time pitch and roll during complex maneuvers. Geomagnetic azimuth is corrected using hard‑iron and soft‑iron calibration and planar rotation compensation to suppress magnetic interference. The unit computes heading in real time and applies dynamic tilt compensation to deliver reliable heading output at tilt angles up to ±85°. Equipped with a high‑performance DSP, standard interfaces include RS232, RS485 and TTL; custom interfaces available on request.
