NBR Sealing Gasket (nitrile rubber sealing gasket) is an elastic seal widely used in the industrial field. It is made of nitrile rubber (Nitrile Butadiene Rubber) and has excellent oil resistance, wear resistance, pressure resistance and good sealing performance. It is widely used in sealing connections in hydraulic, pneumatic systems, automobiles, machinery, petrochemical and other industries.
DESCRIPTION
✅ Main features of NBR gaskets:
1. Excellent oil resistance
NBR is one of the best materials resistant to mineral oil, lubricating oil and fuel among all general rubbers. It is not easy to swell or decompose in media such as gasoline, diesel, hydraulic oil and grease, and is very suitable for sealing applications in oil-containing environments such as engines, fuel tanks, pumps and valves.
2. Good mechanical strength and wear resistance
Nitrile rubber has high tensile strength and wear resistance, is not easy to tear, has good compression resistance, is suitable for bearing a certain preload, can maintain effective sealing under medium and high pressure, and is widely used in hydraulic systems, flange connections and other locations.
3. Stable sealing
NBR can achieve a variety of hardnesses (generally 60~80 Shore A) during processing, has good compression rebound performance, and can effectively fit the sealing surface under static sealing conditions to prevent leakage.
4. Moderate operating temperature range
Generally, NBR gaskets are suitable for temperatures ranging from -25°C to +100~120°C (special formulas can withstand low temperatures of -40°C or short-term high temperatures of 130°C), meeting the needs of most industrial oil systems.
