The TLP sensor represents a reliable and precision solution in the field of hydrometric level measuring instruments that operate in contact with the fluid. The steel structure of which it is made guarantees a watertight seal for immersions up to 300 meters deep, ensuring maximum electrical and physical isolation from the fluid. The transducer element and the measurement electronics are contained inside the casing, which allows temperature compensation of the output signal, for an accuracy of up to 0.05% FS. The measuring principle is based on a piezoresistive sensing element which converts the hydrostatic pressure into an electrical signal corresponding to the hydrometric level. The TLP must be immersed and installed below the minimum water column envisaged and can be fixed on a vertical wall, on an inclined wall or on the seabed, depending on the type of seabed and the body of water to be measured. Furthermore, the sensor is sold together with the temperature compensated measuring cable, of various lengths according to the needs.
