Safety distance sensors for various applications The DT35-S is a distance sensor certified according to ISO 13849-1 (Performance Level b) and IEC TS 62998-1 (Performance Class B) for the protection of capital goods and persons. Thanks to its large scanning range, it is suitable for safe positioning tasks in intralogistics, distance measurements on indoor cranes, and for precise, safe lift height detection on industrial vehicles and conveyor systems. For more stringent safety requirements, SICK provides advanced Safety Application Notes. They describe the integration of the sensor in safety-related subsystems up to performance level d in accordance with ISO 13849-1.
