SPIROL manufactures Thin Shims in any flat formation including highly complicated, non-symmetrical geometries with tooling optional. In addition to usual stamping methodology, SPIROL uses its proprietary stamping method S.W.A.T. (Stamping Without a Tool) to produce extremely Thin Shims less than 0.02 mm (.001” thick). S.W.A.T process allows for a Thin Shim to be generated with one-hit and no burrs. In addition, SPIROL utilizes CNC Laser cutting and CNC Machining to create Shims with complex geometries for Thin Shims greater than 0.25mm (.001”) thick. Both of these methods allow for the Thin Shim to be produced with no tooling charge and are ideal to hold tight tolerances for quick delivery of prototypes and low volume production orders.
