Description

CO₂ Cured Alkaline Phenolic Resin binder system consists of two parts: Part I Alkaline Phenolic Resin, Part II CO₂. Free of Nitrogen, Sulfur, Phosphorus harmful elements, which is especially suitable for the production of steel alloys, carbon steel and ductile iron castings, avoid foundry defects caused by N. S. P. etc. Good thermosplasticity for the sand mold, keep off hot crack defects for steel alloys, carbon steel and ductile iron castings. This resin binder system is available with core shooter for automatic production, or manually making the mold and core, or facing sand, backing sand using cooperatively with water glass CO₂ sand. Proper strength of sand mold, pick out of the box, after 2 hours, close the mold and pour, get high productivity. Low content of free phenol and free formaldehyde in the resin, less influence on the working environment. How to use If use core shooter for production, prepare the necessary CO₂ blower and qualified technological equipment. Choose qualified original sand (reclaimed sand), CO₂ gas and coating, etc. Choose qualified resin addition rate and technique control parameters according to the technical requirements of the castings. Wear labor protection appliance when work with it, if contact with human body incautiously, wash with clean water thoroughly, and seek medical care if necessary.
