Details:
Distance measurement is carried out between two Symeo® LPR-1D24 sensors. For further processing, the measurement data is available in real time at both measuring devices via industry-standard interfaces. Optionally, the Symeo® LPR-1D24 sensor can also be equipped with potential-free relay outputs.
In addition to the distances, the relative speed of the LPR® sensors is also provided. Other measurement values, such as crane hook lifting height and weight, can also be transmitted via the LPR radio channel. Parallel data transmission is possible, allowing a crane without Wi-Fi to transmit all relevant data to a fixed unit at the end of the crane runway.
The antenna is already integrated into the housing, making the devices particularly easy to install. A rough alignment of the opposing units is sufficient to ensure precise measurements, even over long distances. The sensors can be easily commissioned via a user-friendly web interface. No separate software is required.
Symeo® LPR radio technology operates extremely reliably, even under challenging environmental conditions. The Symeo® LPR-1D24 sensors are maintenance-free. Since the system operates at 24 GHz, a wireless data network (Wi-Fi) operating at 2.4 or 5.7 GHz can be used simultaneously without interference.
