When storing paper, waste and fuels in closed bunkers and in open areas, reliable equipment for detecting and fighting fires is required.
Self-ignition of the stored materials or external entry of hot substances can cause fires that pose a high risk to operators and the environment. Effective prevention is provided by an early fire detection system based on an infrared camera, including evaluation of the thermal images using software.
In combination with a water spray extinguishing system, the system can extinguish fires fully automatically. For this purpose, the monitoring area is divided into individual sections, each of which is assigned to a water spray alarm valve station.
We would be happy to develop a customized protection concept for you. With a well thought-out fire protection concept, you signal reliability and safety to your customers.
The thermographic images are displayed on a black and white scale. Dark areas stand for cold areas, light areas for high temperatures. If preset temperature limit values are exceeded in the scanned area, the software signals the alarm status.
Recognize fire hazards at an early stage
The infrared cameras in compact or weatherproof housings are aligned to the freely definable sectors of the area to be monitored and continuously measure the temperature distribution at the various positions. Thanks to the infrared technology, the measurement result is not affected by smoke or dust. In the event of a fire, areas where the temperature is exceeded are colored red. This allows the operator to immediately identify the location of the fire and initiate fire-fighting measures.
