Product Overview
The TAG Split Frame Clamshell cold cutting and bevelling machine is a portable lathe for on-site and workshop pipe preparation. It performs precise pipe cutting, bevelling, facing and counter-boring on pipes from 1" to 48" outer diameter (model dependent). The unit features a lightweight aluminium body with a hardened steel inner ring gear on solid bearings, wide hardened clamping feet with measurement marks and externally mounted telescopic jaws on larger models. Multiple drive options (pneumatic, hydraulic, electric, servo electric) and modular tooling slides allow configuration for varied materials including carbon steel, stainless steel and exotic alloys.
