Tapflo electrically operated diaphragm pump is an environmentally friendly alternative to the traditional air-operated diaphragm pump. It is designed for gentle pumping of the most aggressive media, including those containing abrasive particles.
This series pump features lower energy consumption compared to an air-operated pump, long diaphragm life and the ability to run dry without damage. The lack of seals and simple design ensures easy maintenance.
To increase versatility, Tapflo electric diaphragm pumps are available in HDPE/PTFE, metal and hygienic versions. Tapflo electric diaphragm pumps are intended for use in the chemical, mechanical, painting and hygienic applications, among others.
PE HD (polyethylene) - High abrasion resistance, 6-7 times better than polypropylene (PP) – this allows the use of such pumps for pumping, e.g., slurries with strong abrasive properties. PE is resistant to most aggressive chemicals, such as concentrated acids and alkalis. The maximum operating temperature is 70 °C.
PTFE (pure polytetrafluoroethylene) - High chemical resistance – pumps made of this material can handle even the most corrosive substances, e.g., concentrated nitric acid. The maximum operating temperature is 100 °C.
Aluminum and cast iron - For transporting media with a neutral pH, both thick and thin, containing solid particles or having abrasive properties. Pumps made of aluminum and cast iron can be used, for example, in workshops, the dyeing industry, wastewater treatment plants, etc.
