Description

The TBH FP200 ATEX extraction and filtration systems are designed for processes where explosive (non-metallic) dry dust must be captured reliably—e.g., in production lines, transfer processes, or machining. The units meet the requirements of the ATEX directive (RL2014/34/EU) and are suitable for extraction from Zone 21 (system installed outside of a zone, application suitability to be assessed by the operator). They are intended for non-metallic dusts with minimum ignition energy > 3 mJ. Key benefits (DirectIndustry-ready)6 cleanable antistatic filter cartridges (dust class M) with optimized folding for effective cleaning; designed for long service life versus saturation filter systems.
    • Compressed-air pulse cleaning plus patented, low-contamination filter change to reduce exposure during maintenance
    • Configurable filter cleaning control: differential-pressure controlled (factory setting at 75% saturation), interval cleaning, overrun cleaning, or cleaning start via interface
    • Optional precoating with Precofix 200 (manual or via Precotech 300) to improve handling of sticky/moist particles and extend filter life in difficult applications
    • Application-specific filtration modules, including activated carbon for odours/gases; plus an H14 safety particle filter in an intermediate module for ATEX protection (maintenance-friendly with separate differential pressure monitoring)
    • Typical applicationsMetalworking: dry dust, chips, and particles for cleaner, safer work areas
    • Plastics processing: sanding dust and vapours, especially in dry machining operations
    • Powder mixing & transfer: reducing dust levels to support limit values and hygiene requirements
    • Technical highlights (model overview) FP211 ATEXAir volume flow (free air): max. 2,000 m³/h
    • Effective air volume flow: 300–1,500 m³/h
    • Max. static pressure: 5,500 Pa
    • Motor output: 3 kW
    • FP213 ATEXAir volume flow (free air): max. 450 m³/h
    • Effective air volume flow: 50–400 m³/h
    • Max. static pressure: 15,000 Pa
    • Motor output: 1.2 kW
    • Common (both)Drive type: brushless motor
    • Noise level: approx. 68 dB(A)
    • Dust container: 50 L
    • Filter areas: dust class M cartridges 16 m², H13 particle filter 8.5 m²
    • Optional activated carbon: 52 L (depending on configuration)
Interface & control
    • For integration into production environments, the FP200 ATEX series supports external control and monitoring (e.g., Start/Stop, “filter full” early warning at 75%, collective error output, external speed control, external cleaning start, parameter access). Options & accessories (selection)PTFE antistatic filter cartridge set option for difficult dusts (with suitable processes)
    • Spark quencher accessory for FP213 ATEX (ATEX approval to EN1834)
    • Dust bag for low-contamination disposal
    • Precofix 200 precoating powder (15 L / 60 L)
