The XS Inline marking machine is a class 4 laser designed for integrated use. It uses fibre laser technology to guarantee fast, attractive and permanent marking on all metals and most plastics. The XS Inline engraving machine can be easily integrated into a production line to mark all types of parts. It has the world's smallest marking head and can be mounted on 3 sides to adapt to a wide range of configurations. The controller, which is also compact, can be installed close to the marking zone within a radius of 3 m. XS Inline has been developed for continuous marking, i.e. 24/7. For enhanced performance and the ability to exchange data with an internal network or control the machine using a field network (Ethernet IP or Profinet), XS Inline features a network connection on its Ethernet ports. Inputs and outputs can also be configured for full interfacing with PLCs or other systems in the production environment. XS Inline is controlled by intuitive software with advanced features that make it easy to configure marking files (alphanumeric, timestamp, logo, 1D and 2D codes and images). The machine can be controlled remotely, with or without a PC, and 2 types of profile are available: supervisor and user. Available as an option, the “Read & Verify” licence enables marked 1D and 2D codes to be read and verified using a reader. The standalone licence enables the machine to operate autonomously without any human intervention during marking cycles.
