Cocoa beans or nuts generally contain various impurities such as dust, sand, stones, pieces of metal or wood, paper and so on. The PFC-B series cleaning plant is capable of removing foreign bodies from the product to be processed in order not to compromise the quality of the finished product and to protect the equipment of subsequent processes from excessive wear and tear. This system is very compact and guarantees good cleaning results with low energy consumption. The cleaning system consists of a feed hopper equipped with a metal unloading belt at the bottom to extract and feed the product to the first and second suction inlet. In the first phase, light foreign bodies are sucked out, while heavier ones fall into a collection container. During the second cleaning phase, all light foreign bodies are channelled to a dedicated fitting. Due to its specific weight, size and shape, the cleaned product is not removed by the second air blow and is sent to the outlet. The system provides for adjustments to achieve the desired cleaning percentage. It can be installed inside special confined areas or, due to its special design, also outside production areas
