Teknofanghi presents MONOBELT, the latest generation of belt filter presses. It is useful for dewatering of sludge created by average and large wastewater treatment plants. The pre-thickener and the sludge press comprises its two parts. The initial separation of solid/liquid is performed by the pre-thickener, which takes sludge solids concentration to 5-15% from 0,5-3%. Initially, the press dewatering happens in the low pressure zone and subsequently in the wedge zone. It finally occurs in the high pressure zone where compression of filter cake is performed between the perforated cylinder cloth and the main cloth. Based on the sewage sludge, the discharged sludge cake can reach variable dry solid content between 18 to 30%. MONOBELT® can treat sludge in the range of 1m³/h to 40 m³/h with an assumed 1% of incoming DS concentration. All standard machines are made in 304 stainless steel in conformance with TEKNOFANGHI's high quality standards.
