ApplicationThe MMI belt scale consists of two or more MSI weighing bridges installed in series to provide highly accurate continuous weighing. It is suitable for demanding applications such as mining, energy production, metallurgy, food and chemical processing. Typical materials measured include fertilisers, sand, grain, flour, coal and sugar.
Operational featuresThe MMI is used with Milltronics BW500 microprocessor electronics (integrator) for custody transfer and process control. A speed sensor provides the integrator with a signal proportional to belt speed. The scale installs between conveyor supports and is fixed with eight bolts; roller bridges are attached to the dynamic frame. The system has no moving parts, requiring minimal maintenance and only periodic calibration checks.
