Stainless Steel Fibre Needlemat: our stainless steel needlemat felts are made by needle punching AISI 316 L stainless steel fibres. For greater mechanical resistance and improved dimensional stability, the felts are reinforced with a stainless steel cloth in the centre. They withstand very high temperatures and, consequently, prevent thermal shocks and micro cracks that may be fatal during glass, particularly bottle production. It is rated to 650°C.
