Electronic frost protection thermostat for downstream temperature monitoring of e.g. heat exchangers in ventilation and air-conditioning systems. Integrated P-controller for constant control of a heat exchanger valve within its intended operating range. Safety shutdown of the fan and - if necessary - closing the air inlet flaps to protect the heat exchanger in case set thresholds are exceeded. Temperature measurement optionally with a contact sensor, immersion sensor or cable sensor with up to four selectable sensor characteristic curves. For a quick temperature measurement in the return water pipe of the heat exchanger, a fast-response sensor (e.g. TF14 with KL4VA) should be used.
