Titusonic® Sonic Rivet The Titusonic® Sonic Rivet for cabinet assembly has numerous advantages over traditional methods of cabinet assembly. Quicker The complete cycle time through a production press can be 3 to 6 times shorter. In a traditional press, the dwell time while we wait for the glue to come off sufficiently can be between 20 and 60 seconds. The dwell time for the new Titusonic® dowel is about 2 seconds. The difference is due to the fact that the delivery and exit times from the press are not altered by this process. Stronger Sonic Rivet is approximately 30% stronger than its traditional wooden dowel rival. Cleaner No more glue! This simplifies the machinery and eliminates the need for a clean down at the end of shift. It also eliminates the need to clean up the glue that otherwise often spreads on furniture.
