The Sentinel Power Cabinet Series 48U (RA1053) is a pre-wired, UL 508A certified industrial power cabinet engineered for ultra-high-power 19-inch programmable power supply installations. Configurable as Sentinel-X 48U or Sentinel-Y 48U, it delivers a scalable system from 10 kW up to 420 kW, supporting up to seven 60 kW power modules in a single 48U enclosure. The cabinet integrates a high-current DC busbar system exceeding 2000 A and a thermal design rated for 30K–50K temperature rise above ambient at 100% duty cycle to ensure continuous operation. Cooling is provided by a redundant high-pressure fan matrix with >2000 CFM combined airflow and 85% open perforated doors, plus per-bay temperature sensors and automated emergency power throttling. Grid compatibility and power quality features include active power factor correction to maintain THDi < 5%, a staggered soft-start sequence to prevent nuisance upstream trips, and a balanced 3-phase input to avoid neutral-point shift. Input supports 3L+PE 600 A at 400 VAC / 480 VAC (50Hz/60Hz). The cabinet has a standard 10 kA SCCR with optional 65 kA upgrade, a reinforced frame supporting 1600 kg, safety door interlock, dual-channel emergency stop, and customizable remote control and alarm functions.
