Unprecedented high-speed, high-frequency, low-profile, long-life actuator Zip Chain Actuator is an actuator that performs linear motion by interlocking two chains like a zipper. The compact body design achieves overwhelming space savings compared to conventional linear actuator. It is compatible with high-speed and high-frequency operation and is capable of highly accurate multi-point stopping. Compared to hydraulic and pneumatic cylinders, it can significantly reduce the amount of power used, contributing to energy conservation. We can also handle medium and large sizes with a maximum thrust of 38.2 kN and a maximum stroke of 5000 mm. We also have a lineup of models with an integrated drive unit. Structure End fitting: Integrated with Zip Chain, it can be installed either by pushing up or hanging. Drive unit: Our unique sprocket and Zip Chain together to transmit power efficiently. Storage section: The chain sliding section is smooth and can be stored in a compact chain case. Features Compact The chain case is low, about 1/10 the height of the stroke, and by integrating it with the drive unit, it becomes even more compact, allowing it to be installed in a small space. High speed A maximum of 1000mm/sec is achieved during high-speed operation. It surpasses the speed of screw-type and oil/pneumatic cylinders. Multi-point stop The use of a servo motor enables highly accurate multi-point stopping and continuous operation. Long life It has excellent wear resistance, does not stretch the chain, and has an expected travel distance of 4,000 km.
