Description

Short description
Vertical form-fill-seal (VFFS) machine for three-seal bags. Designed for intermediate-speed production up to 70 cycles/min with pneumatic horizontal sealing and AC-driven draw-down belts.

Description
The VTI 200 is built for packaging a wide range of products where simplicity, reliability and ease of use are required. Pneumatic operation of the cross-seal jaws combined with an AC motor driving the draw-down belts gives the machine flexibility across product types and production environments. Compact frame, robust mechanical and electrical components, and low maintenance needs support continuous intermediate-speed operation. Machine control is provided via a 5" colour touchscreen with integrated industrial PC for quick format changes and recipe storage.

Standard features
  • Pneumatically operated cross-seal jaws with obstruction detection.
  • Draw-down/pulling belts driven by AC motor and universal joints.
  • Closed frame construction for component protection.
  • One-piece film former (conformer).
  • Industrial PC with 5" colour touchscreen (B&R).
  • Program memory for up to 100 items.
  • Machine functions and parameter adjustments accessible on-screen.
  • Automatic monitoring of sealing temperature and air pressure.
  • Detection of horizontal seal obstruction/product trapping.
  • Key-controlled access levels for operators.
  • Automatic end-of-film detection and motorized film roll centering.
  • Interfaces for peripheral equipment and LAN Ethernet connectivity.
  • Designed and manufactured to comply with 98/37/CEE safety requirements.

Most common options

  • Printed-film registration (photocell) system.
  • Gas injection (MAP) system.
  • Vacuum belt film feed system.
  • Special PE jaws for high-speed applications.
  • Motorised film tracking and film tension control.
  • Automatic self-centering film roll.
  • Static eliminators (antistatic units).
  • Bag vibrator to settle product.
  • Flat-bottom bag option (centre or side seal).
  • Easy-open knife shapes.
  • Strings, double-bag or chain/bunch packing.
  • Eurolock and handle punching systems.
  • Coders, printers and labellers.
  • Product discharge belts and other downstream conveyors.
