Label Apply Station LAS-100 is an advanced labeling system developed by VISIOTT TPS to apply high-quality traceability labels to various packaging types in industries like pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, detergents, and food. The 2D data matrix and human-readable code are applied using thermal transfer printing technology which ensures clear and high-resolution prints on every label in compliance with global traceability regulations. One of the most powerful advantages of LAS-100 is its versatility and adaptability to different situations. If the 2D data matrix cannot be applied to the product directly because of regulations, the shape of the surface, the size of the product, or the material of the package then the LAS-100 can provide an alternative where the data matrix and human-readable data are printed directly on a small label and the label is applied to the surface. For example, the system can be used to serialize blisters, IV bags, larger-size products, or products with a special or irregular surface. LAS-100 can serialize up to 150 products per minute while also verifying that the 2D matrix and human-readable data applied are correct using OCR/OCV inspection, if a product is faulty the system’s reject mechanism automatically removes the product from the line. Additionally, the machine design can be customized as per user needs to fit the individual requirements of the project.
