Overview
The Debris Removal System (DRS) ejects separated heavy foreign matter (stones, metal parts, ceramics, etc.) during ongoing operation with minimal loss of medium (≈15 L). It reduces removal time significantly (around one sixth compared with conventional procedures) and can be retrofitted and partially or fully automated depending on selected options.

Operation / Technical features

• Compact hydraulic unit available for space-saving installation
• Performance Control Unit (PCU) option for PreMix or RotaCut RCX monitoring; separate PCU for DRS also available

Applications
The DRS is suitable for biogas plants, solid-matter feeders, digesters and industrial processes where heavy foreign matter accumulates (e.g. slurry, manure, organic waste) and where stopping the process for removal is undesirable or costly. It optimises continuous feeding and reduces the risk of downstream blockages and equipment damage.
