Overview
The PreMix® is a universal 4-in-1 solid matter feeder designed to prepare a wide variety of biomass and organic wastes into a homogeneous, bacteria-compatible suspension. The system combines heavy-material separation, coarse crushing, fiber cutting and positive-displacement pumping in a compact, closed unit suitable for installation even in closed rooms.

PreMix® Next Generation
The next-generation PreMix improves power, efficiency and durability. Main developments include:

• ACCplus blade adjustment system with automatic, dynamic blade/contact control adapting cutting performance to the substrate

• PreMix RCX-58G — The compact, versatile standard model for variable solid matter feeding (suitable for organic waste, dry chicken manure, grass silage, food waste).
• PreMix RCX-68G — The high-performance variant for intensive preparation and higher throughput, for large biogas plants or high material flow rates.

Features

• Unique concept: heavy material is separated and long fibers are cut before the pump, protecting the pump and extending service life
• Compact design: direct connection between RotaCut and pump suction housing, four preparation steps in minimal footprint with space for service and maintenance
• Service-friendly: routine maintenance for the RotaCut RCX and CC-series pump can be performed on site without disassembling inlet/outlet lines
• Housing: steel construction with torsionally stiff design; hot-dip galvanization for corrosion protection
• Sturdy drive: helical-shaft mounted geared motor directly on the drive shaft (no extra coupling required)

Options

• Debris Removal System (DRS) — removes separated heavy material during operation with minimal medium loss (approx. 15 L) and reduces maintenance work
• Multiple-stage pump geometry — optional two-stage progressive cavity pump to increase permissible differential pressure and extend service life with abrasive media
• PCU control with PROFINet — Performance Control Unit available with PROFINet connection on request

Application areas
PreMix is suited for biogas plant feeding and processing a wide range of input materials such as pasty food waste, bulky crops, organic waste, dry poultry manure and grass silage. Typical installation includes feeding via screw conveyor, separation of heavy material, crushing of coarse particles and cutting of fibrous matter before pumping into digesters. A single PreMix can supply multiple digesters.
