Excellent performance in the packaging process
FILMEX II Barrier is part of a new generation of Windmöller & Hölscher cast film lines. W&H extruders provide uniform melt quality and temperature distribution. Extruder output is regulated by precise gravimetric loss-in-weight dosing units to ensure consistent single-layer precision and superior MD/TD tolerances. The W&H smooth barrier screws process common cast resins without changeovers. A specially designed air knife provides uniform melt lay-on and high cooling efficiency on the chill roll for improved clarity and transparency.

Exceptional winding quality and fully integrated automation
The FILMATIC II TC turret cast winder produces high-concentricity single reels or multiple-ups with repeatable winding hardness for direct downstream processing without prior rewinding. FILMEX II Barrier includes fully integrated automation and a user-friendly PROCONTROL TS interface covering components from resin handling to the winder.
