The FILMEX II is a high-efficiency cast film line for CPP and CPE applications, designed for packaging of food, clothing, flowers and other consumer goods. The line focuses on film quality and value-chain efficiency with large roll diameters, high system utilization, low waste and reliable downstream performance. Intense market competition requires differentiation through film properties, added value or downgauging.

Uniform film properties
FILMEX II is part of a new generation of Windmöller & Hölscher cast film lines and includes advanced extrusion technology to ensure excellent melt quality. The W&H screw design provides consistent, homogeneous melt and uniform single-layer distribution. Precise gravimetric dosing units allow accurate metering of raw materials and additives. An integrated High Performance Package on the chill roll unit improves film quality and process automation. A motorized air knife with a dedicated airflow design delivers high clarity and uniform properties across the full width.

Direct downstream processing
Precise web tension control combined with the FILMATIC TC II cast film winder ensures constant roll quality with large roll diameters up to 1300 mm for direct downstream processing without re‑rewinding. Fully integrated automation with the PROCONTROL TS graphical user interface enables straightforward line control and high productivity. Optional productivity modules increase run time and product consistency.
