OverviewFast product discharge and near-zero residuals. The WBHT batch single-shaft industrial mixer adds a full-length bomb-bay (60° opening) outlet to standard WBH features, enabling product residue typically below 0.1% depending on the material. A bomb-bay discharge is recommended where emptying time must be minimised.
Technical descriptionThe WBHT mixer consists of a cylindrical mixing drum with an inlet, a pneumatically or hydraulically operated full-length outlet flap (bomb-bay), a venting spout and a full-material horizontal mixing shaft. The drum is closed by two end plates fitted with flanged end-bearing assemblies and air- or gas-purged shaft seals (or grease seals as option). A drive unit with power transmission provides the required torque and speed control.
FunctionThe 60° bomb-bay full-length outlet ensures rapid, near-complete product discharge, reducing downtime between batches and minimising residual material. The internal ploughshare or inclined-blade mixing tools create continuous turbulence to engage all particles and avoid dead zones. Optional high-speed choppers can be used for enhanced dispersion when required.
