Description

Airflow gravity separator is a new screening equipment produced by our company, commonly used as an environment-friendly device for mixture separation in recycling industries. It is suitable for the separation of metals and nonmetals, including powder materials, granular materials, and mixed materials. The separator divides mixed materials into two parts based on the specific gravity, particle size, and shape of the material. With the increasing demand for classifying mixed materials in the market, the application of air separators is becoming more extensive. The airflow gravity separator is used in various industries such as mining, chemical, and metal recycling, and plays an important role in PCB recycling systems. - Application: - Chemical: Aluminum hydroxide, epoxy resin, and various additives. - Metal: Aluminum powder, copper powder, magnesium powder, zinc powder, and various metal particles. - Other materials: Ceramic materials, refractory materials, magnetic materials, phosphor powder, etc. Working Principle: The basic principle of air separation is that the airflow lifts lighter materials out of the equipment or carries them away horizontally, while heavier materials fall because the upward airflow cannot support their weight. During separation, adjusting the inverter and air volume changes the direction and speed of particle movement. Ultimately, the terminal velocities of materials differ, and different materials are separated into different feeders for effective separation. Light materials are transported into one feeder, while heavier materials are separated from the mixture and enter another feeder. The falling granular materials in the airflow are affected by gravity, buoyancy, and resistance. Changing the air quantity and speed influences buoyancy and resistance. The force that overcomes buoyancy and causes particles to rise or fall is called effective gravity. - Advantages: - Full automatic control, easy operation, and labor-saving. The separator can realize automatic feeding, continuous operation, and automatic separation after manual feeding. - Low noise and no secondary pollution. Materials require no subsequent treatment after separation. - High separation efficiency.
