Overview
The WEBER HSE handheld automatic-feed screwdriver is a compact industrial hand tool designed for repeatable screwdriving with an integrated bit stroke and automatic fastener feeding. It supports DC electric drives or pneumatic screwdrivers and is suitable for manual, robot‑assisted or mixed assembly stations.

Functionality
The system combines automatic feeding with an integrated bit‑stroke mechanism that advances the bit and fastener into position. After each cycle a Bitlock retains the fastener to prevent backfall and holds the tip exposed for accurate targeting. The handpiece includes a start‑button proximity sensor for PLC on‑demand control and quick‑release locks for tool‑free bit changes, enabling short cycle times and improved operator visibility.

Compatibility & customization
HSE systems can be supplied with complete WEBER DC motor/transducer packages or adapted to customer‑supplied drive units. The open‑drive concept allows integration with various controllers and the single inlet air design simplifies pneumatic installation compared with multi‑hose competitors. Options include ESD‑safe configurations, horizontal pistol‑grip arrangement and vacuum feed (HSE‑V) for deep screw locations.

Integration & monitoring
When equipped with an electric drive, process results can be displayed and exported via an interface (for example using the C30S process controller on a touchscreen). The HSE supports data output for quality monitoring and process traceability and offers ergonomic configurations for fatigue‑free operation.
