Cost-efficient and energy-efficient The process controller C5S is designed for simple screwdriving applications. It is used only for drive control – but can be combined with the sequence controls C15 and CU30. The C5S has a wear-free servo drive that provides for an extended service life of the controller. The direction of rotation can be toggled by digital signals. Two configurable speeds are possible. Motor start/stop Screwdriving applications can be controlled with the process controller C5S through both adjustable speeds and a depth shut-off feature. In addition, the C5S has an active motor stop for rapid deceleration of the drive (20 msec). An output to a PLC (System OK) is available.
