The VDI /VDE 2862 directive defines screw joint classes and minimum requirements for assembly tools. In Category A - danger to life and limb - it is necessary to directly measure the controlled variable in the case of an automatic screwdriving system. This means that the measuring system must be of a redundant design so that it is able to verify itself. All categories A, B and C can be covered with WEBER screwdriving systems.
