Added value & experience
Welser has long-standing experience in welded profile tube production. Closed profiles have been in the portfolio since 1980 and manufacturing processes are continuously optimised to meet industrial requirements.

Joining technologies

• Laser welding: continuous longitudinal welds with or without filler material; multi-layer or simultaneous dual weld beads; inline production of single- and multi-chamber profiles
• HF welding: inductive (contactless) process; outer planing and, if required, inner deburring of the weld bead; inline re-galvanising of the weld bead for corrosion protection
• Shielding gas welding: for stable, permanent joints; robotic welding systems ensure high reproducibility; bespoke test welds available on request
• Spot welding: no seam preparation or post-processing required; simple to automate
• Other joining methods: riveting, clinching, press-joining, bonding; patented pull-through riveting for increased load capacity and extended functionality

Capabilities & quality
Production capabilities include continuous and multi-layer welding, multi-chamber profile fabrication, inline re-galvanising and robotic welding for reproducible high quality. Weld testing and customised process development are available to meet customer-specific requirements.
