A SIL3 stereo vision system, certified for safety-critical applications that uses stereoscopic machine vision for presence detection in the vicinity of automatic machines. The device is able to detect the presence of people or objects (up to 2) inside the monitoring area. Multi-area precision Up to 3 static areas plus a dynamic area around the machine head, or 2 static areas plus 2 dynamic areas. Sizes and types of areas can be freely defined by the user. The general area monitoring function allows you to detect objects in the area near the sensor, where stereo vision is limited due to proximity to the cameras. It detects the presence of an object or subject in the area, without identifying its position. The tracking algorithm constantly tracks all subjects entering and leaving the monitored area. The exit of an operator from an unauthorized side will activate an appropriate alarm signal.
