The E-motor enables emission-free work in the tunnel and at the same time a higher efficiency than the Blue Badger. The new excavator is driven by an electric motor that delivers up to 50 kW of power. This enables the eBadger to achieve a higher hydraulic output due to a 15% higher efficiency than the Blue Badger. During the work process, the eBadger is connected to the power grid. The electric motor drives both the hydraulics for moving the machine and the attachments. Another major advantage is the completely emission-free operation.
