Safety elements
- Flame arrestor (FA) with large stainless-steel surface extinguishes dangerous flashbacks
- Temperature-sensitive cut-off valve (TV) stops sustained flashbacks before internal temperatures reach a dangerous level
- Spring-loaded non-return valve (NV) prevents slow or sudden reverse gas flow that could form explosive mixtures
- Inlet filter protects the device from contamination and extends service life
Smart features
- Electronic detection and timestamped recording of any flashback or backfire event
- Four LEDs (red/green/yellow/blue) provide visual status: normal operation, flashback, backfire, hardware fault, low battery
- Digital output via NPN open collector or RS485 for transmission to a control system
- Reset button on the device for acknowledging or resetting after an event
- Electrical connection: M8, 4-pin plug for signal cable (standard 5 m cable available as accessory)
- Not suitable for installation in hazardous (classified/Ex) areas
