WM Berg manufactures O-ring belting in 70A durometer neoprene rubber or elastomer compound Buna-N rubber, and 90A durometer elastomer compound Buna-N rubber. O-ring stretch belts have no cold flow, and no back-up rings are required. For proper tension, STS-70 series stretch is 15% of belt length, and STS-90 series stretch is 7% of belt length. All O-ring belts offer low break-away friction, high temperature resistance, low permanent set, and no special tooling needed. Cross-section: 3/64, 1/16, 3/32, ⅛, 3/16, 1/4 We also manufacture heat spliceable O-ring cords in extruded polyurethane 83A. Our O-ring cords splice into endless belts with Berg’s heat splice tool (part no. STS-U-5). Special O-rings can be spliced at a nominal charge. All O-ring belts and cords are available in inches or metric.
