Three-axis Helmholtz coil (DXHC series) generates orthogonal X, Y and Z magnetic fields with controllable DC and AC components. It is suited for earth-field cancellation and compensation, geomagnetic environment simulation, magnetic-shielding effect evaluation, EMI simulation experiments, calibration of Hall probes and magnetometers, biological magnetic-field research and studies of material magnetic properties.

Additional Notes and Schematic
The product documentation includes a schematic of the magnetic-field control system and examples of 3D shielding-cylinder coils used to obtain low weak fields inside shielding tubes. A three-dimensional shielding-tube coil can combine four axial coils and two groups of saddle (radial) coils, and may be supplemented with first- and second-order gradient-combination coils for improved field shaping.
