Description

Short description
This reaction-bonded silicon carbide (SiSiC) ceramic tube is engineered for use as a wear-resistant grinding barrel component in sand mills. It delivers high hardness, chemical resistance and thermal stability for continuous wet grinding and dispersion processes. Multiple standard sizes are available; custom dimensions and tolerances can be supplied for OEM or replacement applications.

Key Features & Advantages
  • Outstanding wear resistance: high hardness and abrasion resistance extend service life versus metal or conventional ceramics.
  • High mechanical strength: reaction-bonded structure ensures dimensional stability during continuous operation.
  • Chemical resistance: suited to acidic, alkaline and slurry environments encountered in wet grinding.
  • Thermal shock resistance: maintains integrity under temperature fluctuations, minimizing crack risk.
  • Precision inner surface: machined inner bore reduces material buildup and improves grinding efficiency.

Applications
  • Horizontal and vertical sand mills
  • Grinding and dispersion equipment
  • Chemical processing plants
  • New energy material processing (battery, powder materials)
  • Coatings, ink and pigment production
