Description

Overview
The BG series ultrasonic bubble sensors are dry‑coupled, non‑invasive detectors for accurate detection of air bubbles and gas‑liquid two‑phase states in flexible tubing. The sensors use ultrasonic pulse technology and MCU‑based parameter configuration to adjust response speed, delay and sensitivity for applications in medical devices, bioprocessing, industrial automation, food & beverage and fluid handling systems.

Technical specifications
  • Detectable fluids: water, blood, saline, beverages, fuels, paints and other acoustically transparent liquids.
  • Tubing materials: PVC, silicone, PE, PUR, etc.; smooth inner/outer surfaces, no fiber or metal braid. Recommended wall thickness 10–20% of OD. Ensure tubing is pressed to the bottom of the sensor groove for proper contact.
  • Housing material: ABS plastic.
  • Input voltage: 5–30 VDC.
  • Current consumption: < 50 mA.
  • Working temperature: 0°C to 60°C; storage temperature: -20°C to 70°C.
  • Relative humidity: 30%–90% (no condensation). Atmospheric environment: no corrosive gases.
  • Self test: optional function; when external 0V is applied to the Self Test pin the sensor reports gas detected and LED indicates status.
  • Output: TTL compatible signal.
